The Elbow - Il gomito

Dear Colleagues

 

we have the great pleasure to invite you to the fifth Schinznacher-Ultrasound Course that will be held in the aarReha Clinic, Schinznach-Bad, Badstrasse 55, CH-5116 Schinznach-Bad, the 8th May 2010. This year’s topic is «Ultrasound of the elbow: normal and pathologic».

Like in the last year, the program will start in the morning with several theoretical lectures including a live demonstration focusing on the standardized technique of US examination of the elbow. The remaining lectures will present the elastrography of tendons, soft tissue and muscle, is there a benefit for musculo skeletal ultrasound. We will close our lectures with US-findings of muscle.

In the afternoon four hands-on workshops are programmed in which all participants will be able to examine patients presenting with some elbow disorders and other joints under the guidance of experienced tutors. This part of the Course is deliberately practical and you will have the chance to learn several tips and tricks about US scanning from our tutors.
